Cookies & browser storage
Storage and third-party requests used for accounts, payments and website forms.
Updated 14 September 2026
Account and preference storage
The platform uses session and verification cookies to keep you signed in, secure authentication and complete passkey verification. Browser storage also remembers interface state, such as whether you have already seen a credit warning. The marketing website checks your platform session so it can show a Dashboard link when you are signed in.
These mechanisms support the features you request. Blocking session cookies can prevent login or recovery. You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser; this can sign you out and reset saved interface preferences.
Payments
Stripe’s checkout loads when you start a credit purchase. Stripe can use cookies and similar technologies for payment processing and fraud prevention. Read Stripe’s privacy notice for its handling of payment information.
Forms and external resources
The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent automated abuse. It can process browser/device information, IP addresses and interaction signals, and use cookies. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply. You can email nick@data-surfer.com instead of using the form.
Website fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to serve those files. Other linked websites handle their own cookies when you visit them.
Analytics and advertising
The current website and app do not include an optional advertising or product-analytics tracker. If we introduce optional tracking, we will update this notice and provide the choices required before using it.
For other information handling, retention and privacy requests, see our privacy notice.
